0700hrs After Breakfast at your hotel, depart for Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara. Enroute :
# FREE BATU CAVES TOUR - is a limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb into the Cave will take you to the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam aka Lord Murugan. He is honoured during the Hindu Festival of Thaipusam in January or February every year. The 140 feet Statue of the Deity is mesmerising.
(Decent attire is Mandatory for Ladies to enter the Temple proper).
1100hrs On arrival at Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara, activities begin...... as in
^ CANOPY WALKWAY - at 530 meters in length is the longest in South East Asia and you will get a bird's eye view of the World's Oldest Rainforest. View a screaming scenery of Nature at its unspoilt best.
^ JUNGLE TREKKING TO THE TERESEK HILLS - Trekking takes you closer to the different species of flora. The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and fancies about Flora and Fauna in Taman Negara. He will uncover the secrets of Forest. Packed Lunch in the Forest. Bring insect repellants and good walking shoes.
