I am an experienced Tour Guide since 2004 and an enthusiastic Tour Leader since 2011. My duties are guiding, organizing and managing tours for groups or single travellers in English and Spanish.
Travellers who were in my groups describe me as a patient, reliable, extrovert and knowledgeable guide. I work as freelance guide and for private agencies in Italy and southern Europe. Among my absolut favourite places in Italy there are Cinqueterre, Venice, San Gimignano, Rome, the Dolomites, Lake Maggiore and Lake Como and the Veneto Villas.
Guiding people is one of the things I enjoy the most in life. My motto is \" Never stop discovering\".
And now some history:
I knew I wanted to become a Tour Guide since I was a teen when I used to go on trips or camping with my family. They transmitted me all the love for travelling, the passion for organization and for discovering the beauty and diversity of the world.
After a diploma in Foreign Languages, I graduated in History of Art. Art is my other passion in life after travelling.
When I am not guiding groups, I substitute teach at Intermediate Schools and work for Il Gazzettino, one of the oldest Italian newspapers as a freelance journalist. I have effective written and oral communication skills in Italian, English, Spanish and French.
Before working full time as Tour Leader, I worked in the Press and Communication office of important cultural institutions and in the public administration.
I feel proactive, dynamic, and always ready to learn new things and take up new challenges. A positive and curious attitude towards life are my absolute principles.
I will be honoured to be your official guide, you will be in good hands!
